Getting Started
To get started using the WAG:
- Connect the devices that you want to control with the WAG to the rear of the Base Unit. For example...
- Plug an amp into the FT SW 1/4" phone jack.
- Plug an effects pedal into the EXP1 1/4" phone jack.
- Connect a MIDI effects board to the MIDI-Out jack, ensuring that the MIDI device is set for the channel and CC (or program change) messages that you will issue from the WAG.
- Plug the Charging Unit into the WAG Base Unit, power up the Base Unit, and place the Ring on the charger. Allow the Ring to fully charge.
- Slip the WAG Ring on any finger. Then, calibrate the system to your hand by holding down the Save/Calibrate button of the Base Unit until "CAL" appears on the display. Then, open and close your hand until "CAL" no longer appears.
- Choose the preset you want.
- START WAGGIN'! Experiment with different gestures and expressions, like flexing and extending your finger.
- When you are done, place the Ring into the Charging Unit.
